SAFE RX MENDOCINO
In the fall of 2015, a coalition of concerned community members, medical professionals, educators, law enforcement, and community based organizations formed Safe Rx Mendocino. Safe Rx Mendocino takes a community approach to the safe management of prescription painkillers in our county. Because of the divergent needs of our geographically diverse county, we created two sub-coalitions that meet regularly to address the needs of residents on the Mendocino Coast and Inland communities.
OUR MISSION
Safe Rx Mendocino will focus on preventing and reducing opioid misuse and stigma, promoting holistic and comprehensive treatment, and strengthening partnerships with health providers, law enforcement, and our community.
OUR VISION
A healthier community free from opioid misuse.
